The decline of a nation

In has been narrated by Abu Hurairah (Radiallahu anhu) that Rasoolullah (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said: “When my followers will begin to adore the worldly benefits, their hearts will be deprived of the importance of Islam; and when they stop enjoining the good and forbidding evil, they will be deprived of the blessing of the revelation (the Quran); and when they will abuse each other, they will fall from the esteem of Allah Ta’ala.”

Lesson: The meaning of this Hadith is as clear as daylight. Is it any wonder the Ummah is where it is? Can we seriously blame anyone else for our plight?
