Jamiatul Ulama KZN Qurbani Project for Rohingya Refugees

Alhamdulillah, by the grace and mercy of Allah Ta’ala, the Qurbani Project for Rohingya Refugees in Bangladesh was successfully completed. Hereunder follows a brief report from the Qurbani team from South Africa and Bangladesh that supervised this project.

 

Alhamdulillah, a total of 164 cows were sacrificed totalling 1148 Qurbani shares.

 

Breakdown of Qurbani distribution:

Rohingyan Refugee camps: 100 Cows

Dhaka boys Madrasah: 17 Cows

Dhaka girls Madrasah: 21 Cows

Dhaka remote Madrasahs: 20 Cows

Coxs bazaar: 6 cows

 

The meat was parcelled into 1 and 1.5 kg parcels and distributed to the poor and needy.

 

May Allah Ta’ala accept the Qurbani and sacrifices of all those who have contributed to this project. May He reward the Qurbani team for supervising this important project and for the sacrifices they made by being away from their families during the occasion of Eidul Adha, Ameen.
