Question:
Please advise my husband wants me to pierce my navel and upper ear lobe, is it permissible?
Answer:
In the Name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is permissible for a woman to pierce the ears (earlobes), and nose.
To pierce the tongue, lip, navel, eyebrows and including the upper earlobe, etc. has become the trend and norm especially among transgressors (fussāq) and immoral people. We therefore advise against piercing on such areas.
