The Simplicity & Justice of Ameerul Mumineen Umar Ibne Al-Khattab (رضي الله عنه)

The Simplicity and Justice of Ameerul Mumineen Hazrat Umar Ibne Al-Khattab (رضي الله عنه).

A MUST WATCH!!!
It brought tears to my eyes.
SUBHANALLAH!!!
The video is of a heart touching arabic poem (with subtitles) regarding Hazrat Umar (ﺭﺿﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻪ).

Hazrat Umar (ﺭﺿﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻪ) is one of the few leaders of Islamic Civilization that is unique other than the career of Nabi Muhammad (ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ) with whom this whole cycle of events started. From his early days he had shown signs of greatness and the future to come.

It was Abdullah Ibne Masood (رضي الله عنه) who said of him,

“We are still noble since Hazrat Umar (رضي الله عنه)’s Submission to Islam”

All the four khulafa e Raashidoon are renowned for one or another accomplishment. Hazrat Umar (رضي الله عنه) is recognized for his discipline, justice, simplicity, administration, and the conquests that took place during his reign. During his reign, the Islamic Empire stretched to Persia, Rome and even brought Egypt under the Islamic flag. During his Khilaafat, he brought reforms and worked extensively on the welfare of his subjects.

Hazrat Abdullah Ibne Masood (رضي الله عنه) used to say:

“Hazrat Umar (ﺭﺿﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻪ)’s Islaam was a big triumph, His emigration to Madinah Munawarrah a tremendous reinforcement, and his accession to Khilaafah a great blessing for the muslims. I have seen when we were unable to perform salaah at the Kaaba until Hazrat Umar (ﺭﺿﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻪ) accepted (Islaam), when he accepted Islam he fought them (the disbelievers) until they left us alone and we prayed (in front of Kaaba).”

The story in this video is only one of the many exemplary examples from the life of Hazrat Umar (ﺭﺿﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻪ).

SubhanAllah!!! What a great man yet look at his simplicity. Today such rulers are rare if not even extinct. The Muslim Ummah still mourns the death of Hazrat Umar (ﺭﺿﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻪ).

May Allah have mercy on you O Umar (ﺭﺿﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻪ) and may my parents be sacrificed for you, you had such a vast Empire and your name struck awe into the hearts of the enemy yet you were down to earth. Today the muslim ummah is crying out for leaders of your caliber.

O My Allah from the ummah of your Habeeb (ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ) let such leaders rise that will bring honour and justice to Islaam just as Hazrat Umar (ﺭﺿﻲ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻨﻪ) did.

Aameen.
