Wearing the Hat (topi)

Question:

Is it makruh for men not to cover their head ? Is Wearing the Topi the practice of the Prophet SallAllahu Alayhi Wasallam

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Wearing the Topi has been the practice of the Prophet SallAllahu Alayhi Wasallam, the Sahaba Radhiya Allahu Anhum, the Tabieen and our pious predecessors. As Muslims we must try and emulate the Prophet SallAllahu Alayhi Wasallam in every aspect of our lives.

It is makruh to have the head uncovered.
