Nasihah (Advice): Using water to cleanse oneself
Sayyidah A’aisha Radhiyallahu Anha reported: “I never saw the Messenger of Allah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam come out from the toilet but that he cleansed with water.” (Sunan Ibn Majah)

Question and Answer:
- Is Ghusl required after an internal sonar?
- Undergoing an internal sonar will invalidate one’s Wudhu, but not one’s Ghusl. Accordingly, Ghusl is not required after an internal sonar. [Tahtaawi 101]
However, such a procedure should only be undertaken when medically required. If a regular ultrasound/sonar will suffice, an internal sonar should not be done.
