Inspired by the Qur’aan

The Qur’aan is an amazing book of Allah Ta’ala. Throughout history, it has had a positive effect upon various types of people. Even today people’s lives are transformed through its words. The pious and the learned scholars are greatly affected by it. When reciting or listening to it, tears fall from their eyes, their hearts tremble and their bodies shake in awe of the message. Many non-Muslims, after hearing or reading a portion of the Qur’aan, acknowledge the truth of the message and profess Imaan upon Allah Ta’ala and His Rasul (ﷺ). Even critics and enemies of Islam are compelled to proclaim the excellence and truth of the Qur’aan. The Qur’aan and Islam is not in need of their testimony, however an Arab proverb states, “Virtue is that which the enemy attests to.”

This book touches on the interesting topic of the miraculous nature of the Qur’aan. As an  encouragement to recite and memorise this beautiful book, a chapter on the virtues of Tilaawah and Hifdh has also been included. It is hoped that those who recite this humble compilation may appreciate the greatness of the Qur’aan and that they will be inspired to make the Qur’aan a guiding light in their lives.
