The Gift of Repentance

Allah’s Messenger ﷺ , despite being the best of men and and forgiven by Allah, would constantly repent and seek Allah’s forgiveness throughout the day and night.

He ﷺ said, “إِنَّهُ لَيُغَانُ عَلَى قَلْبِي وَإِنِّي لأَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ فِي الْيَوْمِ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ”. “Sometimes I feel a shadow upon my heart, hence I seek Allah’s forgiveness 100 times daily” (Sahih Muslim; 2702)

Therefore, 100 virtues and 100 words of Istighfaar and Tawbah are mentioned in this book, along with the five conditions of sincere repentance and several easy and practical methods to atone for sins and wrongdoings.
