read time: 1 minute
In the fast world of the internet and social media, human beings are daily subjected to its great benefit as well as its grave harms. The speed with which information moves and the anonymity of the internet has left many avenues for individuals to misuse this technology to the detriment of the general public.
Recently, an email address, email@example.com issued a statement in the name of Jamiatul Ulama KZN, illegally using the name and logo of Jamiatul Ulama KZN without the Jamiat’s permission. Such activity is not only fraudulent, but if the owners of this email address have any fear of Allah, they should know it is impermissible as well.
The Jamiatul Ulama KZN has no affiliation to the owners of firstname.lastname@example.org and distances itself thereof.
We urge the public to ignore such emails and rather turn their attention to beneficial matters. Our advice to the public is to always verify the source of information before accepting it at face value.
It is to Allah from whom we seek assistance. Allah is sufficient for us and He is the Best of Guardians.
