A person on whom Qurbani was Wajib did not make Qurbani. What should he do to make up?

Question:

 

Qurbani was Wajib on a person but he failed to make Qurbani. Now he realizes his fault. What should he do to make up?

 

Answer:

 

The person should make sincere Taubah and give the value of the Qurbani animal in Sadaqah to the poor. The value of the animal on the day of Qurbani will be considered. (Ahsanul Fatawa, Vol: 7, Pg: 533, HM. Sa’eed)
