Nasihah (Advice): Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (Radiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) advised him the following: “Be punctual with the recitation of the Qur’an and remembrance of Allah, it will be a means of you being remembered in the heavens and it will be a light for you in this earth” (Bayhaqi, Hadith #: 242/4)

Q. I would like to ask a question relating to an application on my phone. I have recently downloaded the full quraan on to my iphone. Is it permissible for me to keep this phone in my pocket if I enter the bathroom even if the application is closed?

A. If the Qur’an application is closed, it will be permissible to enter the toilet/bathroom with the phone.
