Nasihah (Advice): The virtue of grey/white hair
Sayyiduna Ka’b ibn Murrah radiyallahu anhu reported that Rasulullah Sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, “If a person’s hair turns grey/white in Islam, it will be light for him on the Day of Qiyamah.” [Sunan Tirmidhi]

Question and Answer:
- Is it permissible to undergo a hair transplant for one who is bald?
(Question published as received)
- A hair transplant entails the restoration of hair by redistributing hair from areas of high density to bald areas. It does not involve distortion or disfiguration of the human body which is prohibited in Shariah.
Therefore, it would be permissible for one to undergo a hair transplant if there is a need for it whereby a person experiences psychological or social difficulties due to baldness.
