Nasihah (Advice): Angels descend to record your Prayers
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah radiyallahu anhu reported that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “A group of Angels stay with you by night and another group of Angels by day. They meet together at the time of afternoon prayer and dawn prayer, then those who stayed with you ascend to the heavens. Allah asks them, although He knows better than them: How did you leave My servants? The Angels say: We left them while they were praying and we came to them while they were praying.” [Sahih Bukhari]

Question and Answer:
- Q. When a female applies mehndi (henna), a tape is sometimes placed on the mehndi so that it properly sets and dries. Can she make Masah on the tape and read her salaah?

- Masah cannot be made on the tape whose purpose is to preserve the Mehndi. This is not considered a valid reason that would allow for Masah. The skin and nails must be washed for Wudhu. [Hindiyyah 1:35]
A woman must schedule her Mendhi application at a time when it will not interfere with her Salaah.
