PROJECT H.E.L.P – January & February Report Back

The Jamiatul Ulama KZN Project H.E.L.P and Welfare Departments over the past weeks have assisted in uplifting and empowering under privileged members of our community.

Bursaries 2020

Alhamdulillah, during the months of January and February 2020, over 300 school and university students were assisted with bursaries, uniforms and stationery. The objective being to empower underprivileged youth and to create opportunities for disadvantaged students to access further- and/or higher education studies, that benefits communities as well.

Family Upliftment

Assistance was provided to an abandoned mother with five children, found to be living in a vandalised home. The home was repaired and restored to a reasonable level with the installation of the basic amenities. Alhamdulillah in a short space of time, with the assistance of donors, the home was ready for the family.

Empowerment Project

A youngster who displayed zeal and ambition to pursue tailoring was enlisted to a sewing class and has already started to supply clients.

The Jamiatul Ulama KZN strives to empower and uplift the under privileged, and appreciates the support of our donors and well-wishers.

May Allah Ta’ala grant ease and comfort to all those in difficulty and barakah to our volunteers and donors.
