Disposal of interest funds

Title: It is permissible to dispense of interest funds to the poor and needy 
Question

 

Can you give interest money to children in need,  red nose day charities and  animal charities run by non-muslims. Can you also give to non-muslims who are not that well off (poor).

 

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh

It is permissible to dispense of interest funds to the poor and needy even if they are non-Muslims or Muslims.
