Dogs saliva

If the saliva of the dog came into contact with you clothes. What is the ruling?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

If the saliva of the dog soiled ones clothes and the soiled area is more than three centimetres in diameter, the clothes will become najis and impure.¹The soiled area must be washed three times to make it taahir and clean.
