Female going for Umrah without a Mahram

Nasihah (Advice): To greet children is also Sunnah

It was the practice of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) to greet little children with “Assalamu Alaikum” whenever he had passed by them. (Sahih Muslim, Hadith #: 5791, Narrated by Anas)

Q. Can a woman of over 50 who does not have a Mahram available travel for Umrah alone.

A. No. It is not permissible. The Hadith clearly prohibits a woman from travelling alone without a Mahram even for Hajj or Umrah.
