Nasihah (Advice): The ring of Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)
Sayyiduna Anas (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports: The signet-ring of Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) was of silver with an Abyssinian stone. (Sunan Tirmidhi)
Question and Answer:
- Is a man allowed to wear a silver ring that has a diamond stone on it?
(Question published as received)
- A. A man is only permitted to wear a silver ring that weighs no more than 4.374 grams. In this regard, the ring itself is considered and not the stone.
Therefore, if a silver ring weighs less than 4.374 grams and has a precious stone like a diamond attached to it, he will be permitted to wear it.
And Allah Ta’ala Knows Best
