Nasihah (Advice): Allah is Beautiful

Sayyiduna Abdullah Ibn Masud Radiyallahu anhu narrates that Rasulullah sallahu alayhi wa sallam said, “The who has, in his heart, an atom’s weight of pride will not enter Jannah.” Someone said: “A man likes to wear beautiful clothes and shoes?” Rasulullah sallahu alayhi wa sallam said, “Allah is Beautiful, He loves beauty. Arrogance means rejecting the truth and looking down upon people.” (Sahih Muslim)

Question and Answer:

Is it permissible to sell or use hair extensions or wigs to cover one’s loss of hair?

It is permissible to sell or use hair extensions and wigs made from synthetic or animal hair. However, selling or using them is not permissible if they are made from human or pig hair. (Hindiyyah 5/358 – Ahsanul Fataawa 8/75)
