Is it permissible to take toiletries provided at hotels for home use?

Question:

Generally at hotels and holiday resorts, toiletries like little bars of soap and miniature bottles of shampoos are made available for those lodging at the hotel. Is it permissible to take these toiletries out of the hotel for ones personal use?

Answer:

If there is an understanding between the client and the hotel management that these toiletries can be used and taken as one pleases then it will be permissible. However, the safest procedure is to enquire from management.
