Question and Answer:
- If a person made an intention to perform the Fajr Salaah in its time and was not sure if there was still time to perform the Fajr Salaah and later checked that the Fajr time ended at 5:30 AM and he performed it at 5:50 AM, does the Fajr Salaah have to be repeated?
(Question published as received)
- In the enquired situation, if you were unsure whether the Fajr time of Salaah had expired or not and you made an intention to perform the Fajr Salaah in its time (Adaa’) whereas the time for performing the Fajr Salaah had expired (Qadha’), the Salaah performed will be valid. The Salaah does not have to be repeated. (Al-Muheet-Ul-Burhaani 1/146)
