Project H.E.L.P – Distribution of Wheelchairs & Groceries

Alhamdulillah, on Thursday 11th October 2019, the Jamiatul Ulama KZN Project H.E.L.P team visited the informal settlements of Lotus Park Phase3 and Dakota in the Isipingo Area to distribute wheelchairs & groceries.

The Organisation for Disability Empowerment  appealed to the Jamiatul Ulama KZN for assistance in providing  food & wheelchairs for the disabled & underprivileged, which we were more than happy to support.

The Project H.E.L.P team was assisted by the Organisation for Disability Empowerment to distribute 200 Hot meals, Bottled Water, three wheelchairs to the disabled & mini grocery hampers.

The recipients expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the kindness and generosity demonstrated by the Muslim community. The primary object of this initiative is Dawah, whereby our kindness and generosity can be a means of attracting individuals towards Islam Insha-Allah.

PROJECT H.E.L.P. is an ongoing project of the Jamiatul Ulama KZN and is undertaken at schools, orphanages, old age homes, homeless shelters and where emergency relief is required.
