Project H.E.L.P – Handover Of New Homes

On Wednesday 31st July 2019, the Ameer of the Jamiatul Ulama KZN, together with the Project H.E.L.P Team, formally handed over 3 newly built homes in the rural area outside Port Shepstone KwaZulu-Natal.

As part of our local upliftment projects, the Jamiatul Ulama KZN built 3 homes for the underprivileged and aged residents whose homes were damaged by the recent storms that battered KZN. The jubilation and appreciation expressed by the recipients was beyond comprehension.

It was an emotional moment when the recipients expressed their immense gratitude to the Jamiatul Ulama KZN after receiving the keys to their new homes. While the team was there, two further homes were identified that required repairs, which will be undertaken in the near future, inshallah.

We express our appreciation to Dr Imtiaz & Rayhaan Sooliman and their wonderful team at the Gift of the Givers for assisting in coordinating the construction of these new homes. May Allah Ta’ala reward them abundantly, Ameen.

We also thank the local ANC councillors of the are who joined in the handover of the homes.

May Allah Ta’ala accept our efforts in uplifting and giving dignity to the poor, aged and make these projects a means of guidance to the recipients, and to our donors who are always willing to spend in these noble initiatives, Ameen.

Anyone wishing to contribute to our up and coming projects can do so from the following:

  • Fund a Home Project (building a new home/repair and rehabilitate a home)
  • Sponsor a Lavatory (erected at under privileged rural schools and homes)
  • Upliftment & Empowerment Project (sponsor an entrepreneur and job portal)
  • School Rehabilitation Project (repair and uplift underprivileged schools)
  • Operation Hydration (provide bottled water and construction of boreholes)

Kindly contact Bilall Jeewa on 084 617 8692 for further details.

Jazakallahu Khayr
