PROJECT H.E.L.P. –  R K KHAN HOSPITAL

In support of World’s Aids Day, the Jamiat KZN PROJECT H.E.L.P. team in collaboration with its Skills Development Centre’s sister volunteers from Muslimah Charity Network Group visited the antenatal clinic at R K Khan Hospital in Chatsworth, Durban on the 01st December 2017.

Over 150 toiletry/gift packs were distributed to each of the moms-to-be, most of whom are unemployed and completely reliant on social grants.

Each pack consisted of a face cloth, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, toilet paper, sanitary pads, Vaseline, Zambuk, roll on body lotion, biscuits and bottled water.

The joy and gratitude expressed by the patients was extremely inspiring to each of the team members.

May Allah Ta’ala use our humble efforts as a means of attracting them towards Islam and may He accept the contributions of our donors and the efforts of all involved, Aameen.
