When should infants be weaned off breast milk?


Nasihah (Advice): The virtue of a Hafiz

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (Radiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “It will be said to the companion of the Qur’aan: Recite and rise in status (in Jannah), recite as you used to recite in the world, for your status will be at the last verse that you recite.” (Tirmizi)

A. Infants should be weaned off breast milk by the time they reach the age of two (lunar) years.
