Wudhu for testing patient’s urine?

read time: 1 minute
Q. I work in the Hospital. If go in the toilet for just testing the patient’s urine. Do i need to make wudhu before Namaaz if my wudhu is not broken? Jazakallah your assistance.

(Query published as received)

A. No. Your Wudhu does not break by testing the urine of a patient. If a drop of urine gets on to your body or clothing, it will be necessary to wash the soiled area till the traces of urine have been removed. It is preferable to wash the soiled area thrice.
