Nasihah (Advice): What to recite when plagued by doubts:
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (Radiyallahu Anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) advised that when a person is plagued with doubts, he should ask Allah for protection (recite the Ta’awwuz) and ignore the doubts. (Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith #: 3276)

Question and Answer:
Q. If the cattle (cow or sheep for example) drowned in the river, whether it is possible to eat its meat?

(Question published as received)

A. It is not permissible to consume such meat. Animals that have died without being slaughtered in the name of Allah are carrion and are prohibited for Muslims to consume.

And Allah says in the Qur’an:
Do not eat that (meat) over which the name of Allah has not been pronounced. This is surely a sin. (Qur’an, 6: 121)
