Nasihah (Advice): – The Virtue of the blind:
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (Radiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said that Allah said: “The person who I have deprived of eyesight, if he is patient and hopeful of being rewarded, I will not be happy until I give him Jannah as his reward” (Tirmizi)

I know for a fact that a woman is not allowed to use perfume before going out of her home.
But some women use deodorants profusely & claim that it is not the same as perfume.
Can you kindly clarify?
(Query published as received)
A. It is not permissible for a female to emerge from her home with fragrance emanating from her. Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (Radiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “When a woman emerges from her home to go to the Musjid, she should rid herself of fragrance like how she rids herself of impurities” (Sunan an-Nasai #: 5127)
Thus, whether it a deodorant or perfume, she should ensure that no fragrance eminates from her. The deodorant should be used for its intended purpose, to prevent any unpleasant odour. It should not be used to give off a fragrance.
