Performing missed salaah after Asr and Fajr

Question:

Is it permissible to perform a missed prayer after the Asr and Fajr salaah?

Also is it permissible to perform nafil salaah after Fajr and Asr salaah?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salamu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullahi wa-barakatuh.

It is permissible to perform Qadha Salaahs (missed Salaahs) after Asr and Fajr Salaahs.

However it will be Makrooh ( disliked ) to perform Nafil (optional ) prayers after Asr until Magrib and Fajr until sunrise.
