PROJECT H.E.L.P – Ganges Secondary School Feeding

Alhamdulillah, on 11th October 2018, the Jamiatul-Ulama KZN Project H.E.L.P team together with the grade 10 & 11 volunteer students from Orient Islamic School visited Ganges Secondary School in Merebank. This visit was prompted by a request from the school to sponsor a meal for the 200 matriculants.

Most of the learners are from underprivileged areas of Umlazi and Lamontville. The Project H.E.L.P team and volunteers were well received by the school educators and staff. The learners, who will commence their Grade 12 final exams soon, were given a stationary pack and were served lunch. With assistance from the pupils of Orient Islamic School, the feeding and distribution went smoothly.

May Allah Ta’ala use our humble efforts as a means of attracting them towards Imaan and Islam. May Allah accept the contribution of our donors and the efforts of all involved. Aameen

PROJECT H.E.L.P. will be an ongoing project undertaken at schools, orphanages, old age homes, homeless shelters and where emergency relief is required.

Assistance rendered will be in the form of:

  • Self-empowerment initiatives
  • Feeding schemes
  • Distribution of hampers, clothing, blankets, etc.

We humbly request all to make Dua that Allah Ta’ala grant success to this new initiative.
