Jamiatul Ulama KZN Council of Muslim Theologians
Alhamdulillah, on Thursday 19th August 2021, the Jamiat Ulama KZN Project H.E.L.P team once again had the opportunity to assist the elderly residents of Inanda.
Due to the recent looting and unrest in the area, access to basic necessities had become very difficult. People are having to travel long distances to purchase groceries and other basic requirements. This is proving to be very difficult especially for the elderly.
The Project H.E.L.P team distributed approximately 40 hampers consisting of the following items:
- Oil
- Spices
- Rice
- Noodles
- Milk
- Sugar
- Peanut Butter
- Nyala Maize Meal
- Flour and other items
Alhamdulillah, people of the locality were extremely appreciative for the hampers which they received and conveyed a lot of praise, prayers and gratitude to the Muslim community for this selfless contribution.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to Mr Ismail Haffejee of Inanda Cash and Carry as well as Moulana Ismail Dlamini for the assistance they rendered to the team in completing the distribution.
May Allah Ta’ala reward our donors and well-wishers abundantly and make these acts of kindness a means of attracting people to our beautiful Deen. Ameen.
