Reward for a woman in Haidh

Nasihah (Advice): Difficulties of a believer – Expiation of sins

Sayyiduna Abdullah Radhiyallahu Anhu reports: “I visited Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam while he was suffering from a fever. I touched him and said: ‘O Rasool of Allah, your fever is extremely high.’ Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam replied, ‘Yes my fever is like the fever of two men of you.’ I asked, ‘Will you have a double reward for it?’ Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam replied in the affirmative and then said, ‘No Muslim is afflicted with any harm through sickness or anything else, except that Allah will shed his sins as a tree sheds its leaves.’” (Muslim)
