Angel’s Duas for Generosity?

Nasihah (Advice): Imam Al-Qarafi (Rahimahullah) said, ‘Know that a little etiquette is better than a lot of good actions.’ Ruwaim (Rahimahullah), told his son, ‘Oh my son, make your deeds salt, and your manners flour.’ Many good manners with few good deeds are better than many good deeds with few good manners. (Min adabil Islam)

Q. I’ve heard that the angels make dua for a generous person. Is this true?

A. Yes. It is established in the Hadith that the angels make Dua in favour of a generous person. Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (Radiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) has said in the Hadith: “Every morning, Allah appoints two angels to come down to the earth and make Dua. One angel says: “O Allah, grant the one who spends in charity a better return”. And the other angel says: “O Allah cause the one who is stingy to suffer a loss” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith #: 1442)
