(Question published as received)

  1. In principle, if a woman experiences Haidh (menses) during a fast, the fast will break and it will be compulsory upon her to make Qadha of it. Hence, the same ruling will apply to a woman who experienced Haidh whilst observing the fast of Aashura, i.e. she will have to make Qadha of that fast. (Badaai-us-Sanaai’ 2/94)
